Geoffrey Mwedde
Chief of Party, USAID/CWC Activity
Geoffrey Mwedde Serves as the Chief of Party (CoP) for the USAID/Combating Wildlife Traffic activity implemented by the WCS Uganda Program. He has many years of experience in wildlife conservation, natural resource management and development. Over his last 16 years at WCS, Geoffrey has executed national-level interventions to combat wildlife crime, including countering illegal wildlife trade and trafficking and community conservation initiatives. He has expertise in donor project management and working with government agencies, NGOs and communities, and has supported various protected area law enforcement initiatives. Geoffrey holds a Bachelor of Science in Forestry, a Master of Science in Conservation Science from Imperial College London, and a Master of Science in Development Management from the Open University, UK. He values integrity as an indispensable prerequisite of change.
