Uganda’s tourism industry relies heavily on wildlife and natural resources that face enormous threats, including illegal wildlife trade (IWT) — a multi-billion-dollar criminal industry and a transnational threat— that is undermining Uganda’s tourism revenue earning and national security.

CWC Consortium The USAID/CWC Activity is implemented in a consortium comprised of the: Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) as the lead implementor, African Wildlife Foundation (AWF), AWF, and the Royal United Service Institute (RUSI). RUSI.

The CWC Activity is supporting the Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities, Uganda Wildlife Authority and other government agencies to design, test, and implement software application and systems.
